Meet The HUB NWI’s “Paw-some” Team

At The HUB NWI, creativity, and innovation aren’t just for humans—our team of four-legged creative partners brings a unique flair to everything we do. Meet Skylar, Vanzant, Bowie, and Gizmo, the rescue dogs who help run the show (and the occasional squirrel chase).

Vanzant – Head of Security Meet Vanzant, the Shepski who takes security seriously. As our Head of Security, Vanzant’s watchful eyes and ears are always on high alert, ensuring that The HUB NWI remains a safe and secure space for all makers. From guarding the premises to barking at delivery trucks (and occasionally his own reflection), Vanzant is the vigilant protector every creative space needs.

Gizmo – Outspoken Greeter Gizmo, the pint-sized Yorkie with a big personality, serves as The HUB NWI’s Outspoken Greeter. No one enters the makerspace without a warm (and loud) welcome from Gizmo. He’s the first to greet visitors, clients, and squirrels alike, ensuring that everyone feels right at home. With Gizmo on the front lines, The HUB NWI’s customer service is as enthusiastic as it is adorable.

Skylar – Marketing Director Skylar, an Australian Cattle Dog Mix, is the undisputed pack alpha and our savvy Marketing Director. With a nose for sniffing out trends and an eye for detail, Skylar ensures The HUB NWI’s message is as sharp as her herding instincts. Whether it’s crafting the perfect social media post or chasing after the latest marketing opportunities, Skylar’s got it covered. Just don’t try to take her favorite squeaky toy—it’s off-limits!

Bowie – Operations Manager Bowie, our Pit Pom Huskie mix, handles the day-to-day operations of The HUB NWI with a mix of determination and boundless energy. As Operations Manager, Bowie oversees everything from supply chain logistics (fetching sticks) to team morale (endless tail wags). His multitasking skills are second to none—whether he’s organizing the workshop or making sure everyone gets their fair share of treats, Bowie is the glue that holds the makerspace together.
